Netflix's The Waterfront Screening & Dinner

Netflix’s The Waterfront: Austin Premier
A Netflix “Waterfront” Screening Dinner in Austin

Objective: To design and produce a premiere screening event for Netflix’s new series Waterfront—creating an immersive guest experience that celebrated the show’s debut with cast and execs and elevated its presence through intentional spatial and experiential design.

Involvement: Experiential Design, Creative Production/Sourcing, Step-and-Repeat Design, Spatial Layouts, Vendor Coordination, and On-Site Production Oversight

For Netflix’s Waterfront screening in Austin, I oversaw all creative production and sourcing, translating the show’s tone and visual identity into a dynamic, in-person experience. This included designing the step-and-repeat photo moment as a focal point for press and guest arrivals, as well as creating a spatial layout that optimized flow for mingling, photo ops, and the screening itself.

From concept to execution, I sourced and managed vendors, coordinated with fabricators and rental teams, and ensured all design elements stayed true to the series’ aesthetic. By integrating cinematic cues into the physical environment, the event set the tone for the premiere—offering guests a seamless, branded experience from arrival to final credits.
